it's a combination of laziness, wanting alerts and the wifi connection sucking

using irssi over ssh is so laggy, so I started using the first irc client that came to hand

and it bounces at me when people are trying to talk to me

try ChatZilla, if you have firefox installed

I've never got audio alerts to work via putty. I'm told it's possible which just makes the fact that I can't get it to work even more annoying.

It's not a program I've tried. So i can't really help. I've only really begun to accept IRC back into my life and i'm still somewhat resistant.

I can get an image to the clipboard with command control shift 4 space, IIRC, but I don't know what to use to save it...

There is bound to be some kind of default image viewer on OSX surely?

Got a bonehead on the Last.fm forums griping ieatbrainz sucks, griping about MB integration there, etc.

I don't understand the mass amount of bitching/complaining that is associated w/ Musicbrainz & AS/Last.fm

Mostly MB... dislikers who are against the integration of MB into AS

I've seen all kinds of reasons people don't like MB, none of which made any sense to me. Like on guy wouldn't use it Because It Would Not Capitalize Every Word Of The Title.

And hell, another one who gave the exact opposite reason, wanting all his titles in lowercase.

I guess in future the tagger could come with the option to adjust the capitalisation to satisfy such folks.

Could come with a moon on a stick too.

the only people that really suffer from badly tagged mp3s are people who get their mp3s from p2p networks and no decent person does that.
