What's the log say?

hmmmmmmm... don't see anything interesting. where it crashes it just shows file 12 added, file 13 added, file 0 added.... so i can see WHERE it crashed, but it simple stops writing to the log, then starts up again when i re-start it...

doesn't say anything about the crash...

can you make any of the offending files available?

and looking at the last files froma few crashes, they are ones i have gotten good tags for on subsequent tries

Hmmm.. in your logs, do it show the 'file has been saved to' info twice for every file?

doubtful, it would be best to see one that isn't currently working.

have you tried uninstalling the tagger and going back to 10.3?

no... had same prob running 10.3

have you looked at your application log in the sevent viewer right click my computer -> manage -> event viewer -> application log?

gonna try a total uninstall, and re-install 10.3

possibly. I would remove the program and then remove the musicbrainz tagger directory in program files if it's still there.

Then I'd do a search for not only mbtagger.exe but any tagger dll files out there. Make sure they're gone too.

ah, yes, you might have a lot of data entry ahead of you. I only got about half of my classical collection identiefied by the tagger.

i am SOOOOOoooooooo glad i only have a few classicals... if you don't KNOW you have good info, not much you can do to get the right info... at least my stuff has lyrics i can search for

I don't like the idea of asking you to upgrade to 10.4 but it might be an improvement if the jump from 10.2 to 10.3 was as well.

lol... not an expert here, but know enough NOT to delete dlls without being 100% certain tis safe...

It's possible yours is corrupt, but I'm not sure how you'd figure that one out.

searching for specific artists in WinMX, DC++ and eMule i found nothing, then searching for just "filk" gave 6 results in WinMX, one of which was a pr0n movie
