In case any of my macOS using friends were curious or have run into an issue; XLD's AAC plugin is compiled 32-bit. When you upgrade to Catalina it goes *poof*. I managed to just change the arch to x86_64 and recompile it and it passed, I was able to re-install it. Now I just need to use it and see if there are any audio encoding anamolies.
(it goes *poof* -> it's no longer present in XLD config settings. My AAC profile was suddenly producing AIFF files and I was very confused.)
I managed to change the arch in Xcode, recompile, plenty of warnings but it completed and produced the plugin .bundle file.

Is there an easy way to revert this person's destructive medium edits trying to remove pre-gap tracks so it doesn't break musicbee?
it is strange. this release has a disc ID with 16 tracks, but now it has actually 17 "normal" tracks. that shouldn't be possible, for me this looks like a bug. an annoying one, because it cannot be as easily undone as done
I'm trying to, but if you tick "pregap" again it ads one track to the beginning, but no way to remove a track :( or do I miss something?
chaban
Exactly. It's destructive and undoing it would require removing the disc id first.
SothoTalKer
it just shows, MB needs better handling of pregap tracks.
MBS-10366: Medium edits removing pregap when disc ID is attached are not rejected

uff å uff
it doesnt seem to be an easy thing thing ot revert either.. :/
in fact I can't see any way to do this witohuth actually doing somethnig like removing the first track then readding i
sine no matter what re-clicking the "pregap" ticket wil create a new track. techincally you coudl go and do the remove add routine unendlessly and get a release with ++ more tracks thna the disc id says there is
elomatreb[m]
Dangerous level of carelessnes in going "This breaks my application, so I need to edit the database to fix it" :/
Rather than fixing the application that is
CatQuest
I can readdi it ,but there is no way to remove track until disc id is removed. ajajaj
this really is a mess
that type of edit should not be an autoedit. I think it'd befone for autedits t ohave it like that but not automatically for everyone?
I wish this person would have cleaned up AcoustIDs instead of messing with pregaps . ajajaja
