I've got a CD single that came from Grand Slam Records in the US. There's a Grand Slam Records in musicbrainz, but it's tagged as being for bootlegs. Should I add a second instance of the same label, or is there a different approach?

in general, add a second label, link it to the non bootleg label in discogs etc.

and add a disambiguation comment that indicates something identifying about it

probably something other than "the non-bootleg version of this label" :joy:

is there an equivalent of mergeing an album, but for an artist?

at least if I'm confident someone has made a duplicate
