You could just leave controversial edit notes

But I guess nobody would see them anyway, if the maxi cds are obscure enough

https://beta.musicbrainz.org/cdstub/wsIg2CdhUR4... has 4 CD releases on discogs with the same tracklist. it is possible they all share the same discid, but maybe not
