The fact that you are making this sound as a horrible, horrible problem though is just... odd, to me :)

You should consult with your supervisor about the consequences of broking data piplines and its impact on data economy exploited by Googel. Why do you think you get money form the companies like Googel?

Yes but your oversight severely impacted the influx of data from RYM users.

This has been in beta testing for several days, by the way - if you want to help avoid issues like that in the future, feel free to use our beta server at http://beta.musicbrainz.org/ :)

Then you could have let us known before it got released to production and we would have already fixed it

Googel is interested in anything that can help them markup data. You just take their money and don't care. A lot of people slaving at MusicBrainz are just free labor for Googel.
