I see picard tags files with array if artists in custom tag calles "artists"
but i cant find any equivalent of this for album artist
is there any standard way of doing this?
or is there only standard string tag "albumartist"?

you're asking in the right place
but I don't know the answer
what kind of files are you tagging?

mostly flac files, but i want to add this tags to mediafile python library
and cry funkwhale maintainers to support them
and automagically tag files downloaded from tidal and deezer with those

There is no multi-value tag for the album artist as credited, but there is the `MUSICBRAINZ_ALBUMARTISTID` (for FLAC) tag that contains the MBIDs of all album artists

elomatreb: that's what I already know
The problem is I don't know `MUSICBRAINZ_ALBUMARTISTID` for music I'm talking about and I'd like not to guess ;/

You can use the scripting functionality of Picard to create such a tag, the list of album artists is available as the `_albumartists` variable
(something like `$set(albumartists, _albumartists)` I think, which will result in an `ALBUMARTISTS` multi-value tag in FLAC/Vorbis files and a `TXXX` frame with that description in MP3)
(sorry, `%_albumartists%`)

I was just looking for some kind of standard I could implement in `mediafile` and my downloader
thanks for help and interest in question anyway :D

You might want to post about this in the community forum (https://community.metabrainz.org), if your goal is to get other applications to recognize this tag it would probably have to be added as a standard tag by Picard before that is likely to succeed
