Would it be an MBS or STYLE ticket to add transliteration standards as/in parallel to locales?

Possibly style, after we have our own locale list (which is an MBS ticket that already exists)

Right now it's just not doable, because the locale list we use now is a closed one from some Perl package

But we do want to change that anyway :)

I'm asking because Rafael.Caro asked about pinyin in the style mailing list

He wanted to know what locale to set it as

But I'm not sure what to suggest so I was waiting for others to give opinions :)

In any case, there's already a ticket to allow scripts in locales

And once that's in, at least "Chinese, Latin" would be a reasonable choice

(but if people feel like the specific translit system used should be noted too, that's also fine I guess? I know little about those :) )

Well, I'd argue there are a few worse things, but yeah, not so much in MB :p

(except a 504 in an "add entity" popup, since you can't just resend by refreshing for those)

Postgres.

Are there some new costumers, lately? Or where installed some updates for postgres, lately?

No newer DB version, unfortunately. :)

MB is on 9.1, I don’t know if point releases have been installed (I doubt it).

The requests after rate limiting have largely been constant, so nothing that could explain why problems started this morning.
