Apologies if this should be redirected to a different channel/forum, but I noticed on the MB website that it was possible to query artists who played a particular instrument. I replicated the MB DB but am having difficulties finding where/how this information is stored. Any pointers of where to start? (I reviewed the Advanced Relationships wiki but am still a little confused as to how these are stored in the DB)

Hmm, doesn't that just associate artists to their releases/recordings? I wasn't seeing a field that linked instruments into those relationships unless I am missing something. I was looking in the l_artist_instrument and l_instrument_release tables (which had no records).

Instruments are used as attributes of those relationships
could use some additional blurring and smoothing filtering, imo, and maybe some levels adjustment. I usually scan at 600 or 1200 dpi and resize down to 300dpi during processing
there's a lot of dirt on the scan; is that just due to bad condition of the booklet? I keep around a lint-free cloth to wipe both the paper and scanner bed before scanning, that usually helps
cleaning up that scan is a bit annoying, because it looks like an older printing process that uses larger ink circles in the screening pattern :/
i couldn't remove the grid completely, it's still kinda visible :/
smoothing is a delicate balance between removing high-frequency detail (the screening dots) while preserving as much high-frequency image detail as possible :)
