Hey guys. Curious..... what is the best way to mark a "project". Should it be set to "other"?

and I mean project as in an artist(s) not a release

we treat "projects" pretty much as performance names most of the time, I think

But the artists on those recordings don't match the release artist

So I suspect it was fixing a bigger, earlier mess

You have to have the thing to relate to in order to add the relationship.

Archos was never particularly good at building mp3 players.

(Neither was Apple.)

even so, they're the only folks who had made any players with big storage in the past few years :/

(and rockbox fixes a lot of the faults of the apple players ;)

Does it fix bad audio output? (at least that's what I've always heard as one of the main issues with the old iPod)

hmm, I've heard some stuff about some of the older models having trouble driving high-impedence headphones. I haven't really noticed any issues...

The market for mp3 players is pretty much dead anyway.

(given that I mostly use it when commuting, it's not like I'd be able to notice minor audio quality issues in the dac/amp)

I'm tempted to go to the apple store and try to pick up a spare, if they have any stock left :/

8GB players still cost as much as 4 years ago, while the prices for flash memory have declined so much that manufacturers could put 64GB on them at the same price as back then.
