Back in the day, there was a Firefox extension that allowed you to right-click submit buttons to have them send their form data to a new tab... I can't find one for current Firefox though. Does anyone know of one?

so I've just added a CD by Waco band Adeline, and found that the existing "Adeline" is actually three different bands mashed together, none of which are the one I'm after ;-)

when splitting the existing one up, should I leave the one that has the most releases in it as the existing entry, and move the others out to new ones?

take a look at the artist editing history, see which Adeline came first, and move the rest out.

Because it’s a separate edit (Add medium).

It is a pretty dumb change IMO, but it has been like that since the beginning of NGS.

Well, if they weren’t separate you couldn’t add mediums to an existing release, later.

well if you look in the release you'll see no "add medium" os no tracklist

Vocals? As in, who sang it? That goes to the recording anyway, because different singers can sing various performances of the same song.

Other non-conflicting information will be combined, not overwritten.

chirlu: you are correct, vocals belong to recordings.

There is a “Merge” link in the sidebar. Click it on one page, then on the other page.

You click "Merge" on, select the target and hit "Submit".

After writing an edit note.

No need to do anything under “Merge process”.

It should take you to the merge page after clicking "Merge" the second time.

If it doesn't try again.

There seems to be some bug where it doesn't remember one of the entities to merge.

Our guidelines don't really mandate any language/script for disamb comments, do they?

KRS-Cuan: I disagree with removing the English disambiguation comment completely

I expect most editors don't understand Japanese, so it's effectively removing the disabiguation

Thing is, we don't seem to have any requirement in the guidelines for this.

And the Japanese comment ist "Seto no Hanayome", the show the character is from.
