Well, they are indeed user-generated lists, but I think they could also be relevant to book/comics series.
We do currently have IMDB identifiers for works (movies based on a work), why not "this series of films is based on this series of books"?
Not sure how much it would be used, but I don't see a strong reason not to add it
It's not at all guaranteed a one-to-one relationship, though.
BilleeKhoj
i think it might be fine, but i strongly think this sohuldn't be a day-one feature. rather something we cna implement if there is a request by the community ofr it
monkey
For example there's often series of novels based on a films series
BilleeKhoj
yes
monkey
I'm OK with that.
"novelisations", that's the word I was looking for
BilleeKhoj
yes
monkey
Anyway, we can keep it in a drawer in case it's requested

Not really sure what I did that fixed it. Check whatever you tried to do before whether that’s working now? The ping module wasn’t enabled before, so it wouldn’t have responded to pings prior to some minutes ago. :p

I forget, is BrainzBot supposed to handle jira ticket integration?
Freso
Yeah.
It might not have been set up for the channel though.
BilleeKhoj
nor mb,
Freso
Ah, it has been set up, but it probably hasn’t been asked to fetch jira info for the channel.
BilleeKhoj
