I'd love if there was Tidal support in listenbrainz like to import and export playlist and use to play music! Just some feedback

Does Tidal allow playing music from a third-party website? Last time I checked it was pretty closed, which was the reason we abstained from implementing it.

Might be time to revisit if you can indeed play from a javascript player

I'm not sure exactly how it works but there are 3rd party apps like Hiby music that play from directly from tidal

For playlists it does make sense, but we generally stayed away from implementing authentication to services that don't allow playback. This we could also revisit, I think import/exporting playlists is a good use case

lionharth[m]: Hm, I think those are closed partnerships with specific hardware. Will check

Aha but thank you checking, you know more than I do

I stand corrected, that is good news! They have a relatively new (read: since last time I checked) javascript SDK: https://github.com/tidal-music/tidal-sdk-web

I'll have to play with it to ensure it does what we want, but that looks promising

Oh wow! Thank you so much! I'll be okay if it'd doesn't work as a player, playlists is fine but I'd be very happy if it works!
