I do feel it's a bit unfair to people in places where $5 is a lot of money, although also it's fairly pointless so not the end of the world (and honestly the fees are like 50 cents so if you pay less than that so much of a percentage of it goes on fees ...)

Reminds me of Twitch region based subscription pricing <https://help.twitch.tv/s/article/local-sub-price-countries?language=en_US> But that would probably be a PITA to implement, even if you just fed off their price list. Plus people could abuse it to get cheaper prices with a VPN or something silly.
