lucifer: indeed, that likely is the cause. crazy how this all turns out.
I wonder why they block IRCCloud? Because they now offer their own IRC bouncer, or maybe because IRCCloud openly advised their users to switch network
In any way, the way freenode now behaves shows me clearly it was the right thing to leave that network
lucifer
i think it might be the latter but indeed this only proves that it was right to move off freenode.

although, one thing that website is missing is a very clear "we made x, y, and z"
lucifer
yeah. going through use cases, it looks like multiple projects under one umbrella.
TROMPA ME looks very interesting.
alastairp
kind of. it's 1 project with a bunch of different aspect, each led by a different partner (there are ~5 universities and 4 companies involved in the project)
they're supposed to have a common thread, but as is usual with these types of projects there's a lot of independent development
ruaok: for MeB OAuth, i think it makes sense to have a customers table (this will have the contents of the current MeB users table) and a users table (this will have the contents of the editors table in MB). wdyt?
ruaok
s/customers/supporters, but yeah
lucifer
👍
ruaok: do we already have a document about MeB oauth stuff or should I create one?
zas: restored live indexing (for current and further edits), requeuing messages for recent edits
lucifer
ruaok: alastairp: i updated web container, some errors in sentry. but the stats graph seems to be normal. pika was updated in this release so might be related.

i'll monitor it for some more time and see if i can make sense of it or need to revert to an older release.

kinduff: I remember in the old days having such badges on bulletin boards proudly proclaiming users' computer's uptime in their signature. Haven't seen much of this trend in recent years, but I'm sure someone out there would like it
