progress on this sample website. Name is still a placeholder, but I think it'd be good if MusicBrainz likes it

aerozol: playlists running fine, 3/5 users in the thread have had playlists updated. for others, it will update after midnight in their timezone. I think we had some alerts on telegram but we need to fine tune our alerts to avoid letting things drowned in them.
op3kay: I think 10 is even way too much - anything over 2 steps between the area we want to add and the one we have I'd already say merits a human checking what is going on
2026-01-19 01959, 2026
reosarevok[m]
lucifer: did you see the support email about spotify playlist import? Is that a known issue?
monkey: stats are being calculated but the alert only checks mayhem's stats which are out of date because of no listens since jan 14 until an hour ago. we need to find a better solution for these alerts.
2026-01-19 01946, 2026
monkey[m]
Ah yes, that old chestnut. Sorry for the confusion then.
2026-01-19 01909, 2026
lucifer[m]
maybe check multiple users and take a majority. or just check whether the cron produced any results.
2026-01-19 01911, 2026
monkey[m]
I checked my stats, it looked like I didn't have stats for half of last week though

lucifer[m]
do they look incorrect?
2026-01-19 01940, 2026
reosarevok[m]
lucifer: did we decide in the end to support flairs for anon donations and if so did you have any time to look into it? (mayhem was asking about the email we got and whether it is resolved)
2026-01-19 01955, 2026
monkey[m]
lucifer[m]: No, just me confusing myself, ignore that
2026-01-19 01914, 2026
lucifer[m]
reosarevok: i think yes, that's what we decided in the end.
2026-01-19 01916, 2026
monkey[m]
lucifer[m]: Yeah those sound like better solutions for sure.
lucifer: ok, so we are planning to change that, but there has been no progress yet towards it. Is that right? :)

Did you ever answer to the user saying that we agreed to do it but we don't know when we'll implement it? IF not I can do that at least. Do we have a ticket they can follow?
2026-01-19 01950, 2026
lucifer[m]
no to both. i can create a ticket and respond in a while.

<monkey[m]> "image.png" <- so about this issue, someone opened a pr on this essentially making a very simple filter that filters out data before the year 1900 and then calculate the min and max decade from the filtered data

I dont think it should be done that way but it is a quick n fast solution tho

was wondering what you think about it...... monkey
2026-01-19 01959, 2026
monkey[m]
<harizz076[m]> "I dont think it should be done..." <- There should definitely be more investigation done on the data/back-end side to figure out what is happening.
2026-01-19 01959, 2026
monkey[m]
Can't tell you where to investigate as I don't know what the issue is exactly, but I don't think it's a front-end only issue and as such, hiding the problem is not a good solution.
