[sir] 14fettuccinae opened pull request #172 (03master…Search-758): Fix: [Search-758] Release doesn't show up in search results. https://github.com/metabrainz/sir/pull/172
<Yateen[m]> "Hi monkey ansh Jade (she/her)..." <- Don’t worry too much about the exact number of PRs. 9–12 is totally fine. What matters is that each PR is short, focused, and easy to review, with relevant tests included. Breaking things into independent subtasks like you planned works well.

Also, avoid going too granular with micro PRs. They can get hard to manage since they often depend on each other.
reosarevok: yvanzo: we're still not able to run any CI tests, since launchpad has been down for the past few days :(

<reosarevok[m]> "Can we get it in an alternative..." <- idk if it would be any easier than compiling from source, but at least it might be faster: maybe have CI grab a copy of uv, use uv to download latest python 3.13, then (unless uv has a built-in option for this idk of) do some copying and chmodding to put the resulting downloaded python wherever the rest of CI typically expects it?

julian45: good idea, I didn't realize they had binary distributions of python

I have made the decision to leave my laptop at home to give myself a much needed break. I will be reachable for chats but not for 'actual work' from the 13th May to 13th June.

Some menial tasks, like meeting notes and posting updates to socials, will be on hold, unless sometime wants to volunteer for those jobs. Ping me if you're keen!
Congrats on having a break! We have one more week before the holiday starts, so people who might want to do socials and the like, please think about it during this week! :)

Reviewed some prs, interacted with the community. Hopefully i'll be back with more updates next week. Planning on working on some big things in Metabrainz this summer.
