bitmap: if you're confident that the tests cover enough to expect it won't be *worse*, I'd say release
I'm not sure whether yvanzo is fully back or not and it'd be good to get it out by Fri at the latest
If you're not, maybe let's improve the tests :p
Also, bitmap: For MBS-12375 do you also feel that it seems wrong to depend on racing the X and the implementation should just disable the editing options once you click submit?
we are indeed working on music recommendations in LB. we have those available through an API. we also have a python library "troi" to generate music playlists using those recommendations and other sources.
you'll probably want to talk with mayhem about this more.
fatihemreyildiz
i have seen troi, but I think it is not working right now, right?
mayhem
should we working alright for the few things it does. more things coming hopefully next week
lucifer
it should be. are you facing any issues?
fatihemreyildiz
I haven't installed it yet, while I was on Discourse I saw someone said "troi is in a bad state" about troi, so I was like, is it workiingg, or noott?
And on the github page it was like TBC... So I wasn't sure
I can try tho
lucifer
there were some issues earlier but it should be working now. its getting more and more stable as we continue to increase its usage in LB.
but yes if you face any issues, feel free to report to us and we'll fix it :)
mayhem
what exactly is your goal? troi is a developers tool and it is generally not very difficult, so jump in and help out!
bitmap
reosarevok: for cases with a lot of pending images it might be useful to have a 'pause' button and allow editing the remaining submission once paused. racing the X definitely doesn't seem ideal since the upload could already be in progress
fatihemreyildiz
lucifer i will try it and let you know if I see any issues
mayhem for now we are just deciding which services we can use in order to reccomend similar songs to our users, which are djs
this reccomendation can be directly by a track, or from the playlist
mayhem
I can tell you right now, it has almost nothing to do with the tools but all about what data the tools are using.
