No. I've not seen that before. I wonder if it's an issue with sphinx versions. I think something just broke on the Picard Docs repo in the last couple of days after some of the dependencies were updated (that I haven't looked into yet). Maybe try changing that to Sphinx >=4.5.0

rdswift: The cross-referencing syntax is not part of ReST, it is specific to Sphinx/RTD.

Actually we use cross referencing a lot in the RTD docs for Picard.

Sphinx supports cross referencing across all documents in a project.

From what I'm seeing in MyST so far, it requires RST type syntax to do anything other than basic markdown formatting.

It extends CommonMark which we were already targeting.

last week was the worst week of the year, as expected. accounting, invoices and lots of cleanup on the accounts from the past year and filing paperwork needed

but I also made a budget for the upcoming year and proposed raises for the whole team.

the board signed off on it and today I sent out contracts.

i would like to be a part just as an observer for the most part reosarevok

I also updated the "loss of executive director" document and changed the master password on the password vault

new partial keys have been distributed to 5 people.

and then I started off working on the MB documentation improvement project with rdswift and reosarevok.

mb bussfactor increases?

oh, and loads of PRs against the lb-content-resolver last week.

that was really rewarding. :)

last week, i tried to setup bridges between IRC/zulip/discord/matrix. only the discord one worked/

rest two hit technical snags, hope to get it working this week.

did some final fixes for YIM. and a little progress on MeB OAuth stuff.

other than the search stuff mentioned already, tested and it works smoothly in development on sample data. need more testing on the full database to confirm

but otherwise we should be ready to move to Java 17 and Solr 9 in prod soon.

also, got sir working on python3 again. bitmap was able to reproduce that it works

SO i am working on 2 issues right now one is of Adding a Beta-site cookie to the bookbrainz website

and the other one is to add more units of measurements in the add book menu

I am understanding the codebase right now slowly

last week, like the one before, I worked more on https://github.com/metabrainz/musicbrainz-serve... ...

took a while to finalize the implementation, but I think it's ready now, and should hopefully eliminate certain timeouts people get while editing

I also finished moving the JSON dumps to another server, hendrix, to reduce I/O on aretha and avoid impacting WAL receival there

over the weekend I helped set up running some tests for lucifer's awesome work on mb-solr / sir. we should test it a bit more but so far seems to work flawlessly

other than that I worked a bit more on the edit types for the event-art-archive and did a small amount fo code review

Since the last meeting last week, I worked mainly on MBS:

I fixed continuous integration tests and the localization of statistics pages.

I shared issues about upgrading MB Solr deps with reosarevok, lucifer, and bitmap.

Thanks to lucifer for the breakthrough in the class loader issue of MB Solr!

Tried to pass some of the previous research work about docs to rdswift.

I enabled translation reviews for Spanish with reosarevok as coordinator.

Plus the usual PR reviews, Docker support, and tickets triage.
