lucifer: "`confirm_password is a required field`" I think just "Required field" might actually be less confusing? Given that the field is titled "Confirm Password", seeing it as `confirm_password` might make people think something is broken

reosarevok[m]
"`Confirm Password should match password!`" `Both passwords should match` or something seems simpler but that is fine I guess? aerozol might have better wording for these things though

The only button to close the more info popup saying "Sounds good" feels a bit like the "I love you" - "I know" thing from Star Wars :p

reosarevok[m]
Maybe it doesn't sound good to someone! 😅

Sigh, "The CSRF token has expired.", but to be fair, I opened the form yesterday. That said, that tells nothing to a user, maybe it should have a friendlier text?

Otherwise, it created the account just fine - I have no idea what I would do now in order to create the accounts on the other sites in a few clicks though :) Maybe the page I get to when I verify my email should be a "start using our projects" page?

(I understand right now there's probably no such creation ready yet, but still)

reosarevok: sure, will improve those messages. i have a few pending improvements for the admin portal, will share it all together.

<reosarevok[m]> "Otherwise, it created the..." <- We are working on redoing the user profile page, which will have links to the other MeB projects (i.e. a link to your user dashboard on project XYZ).
2025-11-11 31522, 2025
monkey[m]
If we redirect to this new user profile do you think that would be satisfactory? I suppose we will want to make it prominent that you now have access to all these cool projects
2025-11-11 31545, 2025
reosarevok[m]
That would probably work, I guess :) I'd have to see it, but I mean, I imagine in most cases (not starting from the MeB page) we'd redirect to the project they started from
2025-11-11 31552, 2025
reosarevok[m]
So it's likely to be a minor issue

would this work? all, commercial, non-commercial?

mayhem[m]
yes.

for the payments tab we have two screens, one of the 500s. we only need one.

let me compare with the prod version.

yes, i'll remove the extra one.

i think prod has two too.

I don't think when we added the feature to click on any country that we planned for there to be no listens, apparently

Never mind I was wrong, they also don't span the right width

I'm using a data- attribute on the element to pass each logo's width to CSS, but that does not seem supported on FF (or at least not in the way I'm using it)

lucifer: for the cron jobs doing an incremental vs a full cache rebuild, we need to guard against both running at the same time. one takes about 4 hours, the other runs every 4 hours. Guaranteed trouble. My thought is to have a redis key with an epoch timestamp.
2025-11-11 31514, 2025
mayhem[m]
The incremental process would check the timestamp is if present; if less than 6 hours old, sleep for 60 seconds, retry.
2025-11-11 31503, 2025
mayhem[m]
the full one would check the timestamp and if less than 6 hours old, just exit. if more than 6 hours old, set a new timestamp.
2025-11-11 31544, 2025
mayhem[m]
(technically the key needs to be more, process name-pid-timestamp)
2025-11-11 31528, 2025
mayhem[m]
and with a PID available, the process can check to see if that locking process is still alive. if not, take the lock and go.
