I think I've found a regression in Picard, I have a release that has forward slashes being interpreted literally on save. Either a regression or a bug, bad in either case.

Perhaps I need to enable "Windows compatibility"?

VxJasonxV: Good catch. That's an issue of the "replace non ASCII" function turning ／ into a ASCII slash. I'll see to get this fixed. But in your case you'd probably want to disable the "replace non-ascii" option anyway, doesn't really give you any useful filenames with Japanese script

I'd like to set cover arts on RG but I can't as I missclicked and now have to wait a week for merge

i've 2 problems which it will solve:

1. I've a 2CD digipack consising of 2 albums, on digital sources those are separate albums

2. I've 2 deluxe edition albums with additional CD (in the same jewel), both of those additional CDs are the same EP album

JuniorJPDJ: A 2CD digipak consisting of 2 albums is a separate release and release group from the 2 separate albums. That makes 3 releases and RGs.

But you can use existing mediums from other releases when adding a new release

fwiw, I've recently spotted this discussion come up on social media: https://tech.lgbt/@johannes/106437211204605711 and it might be something that needs moderator intervention to solve some edit wars (and honestly, it's something the current style guidelines really don't cover well)

I think this was a digital release updated in-place by changing the name/account name on bandcamp

Actually, a "withdrawn" release status really would make sense to have in several cases that I know of. It would indicate a release that was officially available, but then removed from sale at the request of artist or rightsholder (rather than, for example, simply going out of print)
