Google plus was pretty popular with Google employees. And there are a few of them! 🤣

I finally have a question that isn't about Picard. :D

I'm ripping an album that only has one physical release listed. My disc id matches with that release but the barcode and label info is different.
-
If it was the same label but a different code, would that be the same release? Not sure if there's a way to attach multiple barcodes to a release.
-
As it is, this is a different label which means it would be a different release.

different barcode = different release

Yes, different release, but you can reuse most of the data when adding a new release
-
You mostly just need to fill in some bits of the first page in the release editor (which are mostly the ones that are different to begin with)
-
PelvicSorcery
reosarevok That's what I've been doing. Just sometimes hard to tell as it looks like disc id's can get stuck to the wrong release.

Discids might sometimes be right for *both*
-
(and sometimes, yes, they're on the wrong one too)
-
Just make sure you add it to your version as well :)
-
PelvicSorcery
I have been. :)
-
Just sometimes a pain to decide if it's worth the effort to add the release or just use the data that's mostly correct. :D

how do I filter by this guy adding a release with packaging: Digipak?

I got it, it's good enough to just filter by type=add release
