Hi2all! As i know if u created a new release in case of mistakes you can change things w/o waiting a week for pendings edits. For example you have assigned wrong credites, you can fix them and they automacally applied. A question - can you implement the same things for works? Coz if you created new works and applied a wrong credits, then after fixing them you have to wait a week for changes.

Hmm. I thought we already did that for all entities...

It seems we do, you're supposed to be able to amend entities up to 1 day

I guess that might not apply to relationships though

Well, here is an fresh example: i have added a new release, created works, but wrongly assigned composer (similar name). I fixed, but removing a wrong one is still a 7day pending edit: https://musicbrainz.org/release/ed52d858-d819-4...

Does it work if you edit instead?

You mean if i edit the certain work directly and not remove relastionships in "edit relationships" window?

Or you mean change composer from one to other?

Yes, change the composer

Rather than add + remove

That *might* not work for this, but in general it's the preferred way (otherwise, you could have the add pass and the remove fail and have two relationships left behind, or the other way around and have none)

Honestly never tried this. Always removed previous and assigned a new one. But i will note this and try next time, thanks.

yea no. it's fancy and will not work everywhere

probably my machine is too old for discord

so it will mean i cant acess the communication channel

i prefer irc. irc "just works"

you don't actually need to be able to paste moving image and lightboxs instead of regular links

if yo uneed tohse things there are fancier irc clients that wil do much such things

Well, my personal + in discord that i have all communites and voice chats in one application, while IRC i use only for musicbrainz. As for utility - i dunno, since i am using a simple and plain IRC client.

Darkloke: If you want a user interface more similar to Discord, try Matrix (specifically the "Element" web client)
