Maybe that was made into an autoedit at some point because it's trivial to change back

that was me fixing up someone else's hatchet job (a fan of 'passenger' who imported throuh the a-tisket and didn't bother to check that they were actually using passenger's own label)
2022-01-22 02236, 2022

is there a list of auto-edits somewhere? or is it hidden to avoid spam?

reosarevok: unless it's the last link in wich case the label will be deleted? :D
2022-01-22 02226, 2022
KassOtsimine
uh .. hu. actually do we have a list of "what thinga are autoedits (and why where they made so" at all? i don't think we do actually)
2022-01-22 02224, 2022
reosarevok
That is a fair point re last link, but :)

I'm not sure we do, would need to check. yvanzo might remember if there is

no idea

well getting the list would be programatically easy. just find it in the code
2022-01-22 02251, 2022
KassOtsimine
then .. ahh but why
2022-01-22 02206, 2022
KassOtsimine
if yo uget me the list i cna make a document and start asking why
2022-01-22 02211, 2022
KassOtsimine
(document it)

I am fairly handy with coding, but I'm not really sure where to start. Cursory poking around the code does not seem to suggest there's a specific list of relationships, rather, whether something is an auto-edit seems to be accomplished directly acting on the database?

Is there a schema that lists each edit and it's nominal status, as in, whether it goes to vote or otherwise?

ev: there must ultimately be some sort of thing but it might just be implicit in the codepaths, and not "schematized"

specifically whether something is an auto-edit depends on specific checks that a given piece of data exists
Can anyone help me figure out this display issue? If you look at this newly-added release: https://musicbrainz.org/release/05fd5da0-ca0b-4b7… you'll see that the detail page shows there's no artist tags for the 2nd medium. But... it's definitely there. If you try to Edit it you'll see they're already there, but they only show up while you're editing, not in the final rendered page

Am I missing something, is this expected behavior for some reason?

<apetresc[m]> "Can anyone help me figure out..." <- Do you mean the "artist" column in the tracklist? That only shows up if any of the artist credits of the tracks are different from the release artist

elomatreb[m]
It's shown for the first disc because the last two tracks have a different credit
