notsosmart : i believe if it's literally just the same thing, you can enter a second release date
2022-05-21 14104, 2022
Erin
just add a release event and fill out the second date
2022-05-21 14127, 2022
Erin
although if it fundamentally changed in some way, then you do a second release
2022-05-21 14139, 2022
notsosmart
but the release date is unknown
2022-05-21 14132, 2022
notsosmart
I very much doubt it is different in any even barely substantial way

I could link to all three of them, but there is a distinction between two pressing plants in discogs, and on MB there is an option to enter a pressing plant
2022-05-21 14135, 2022
notsosmart
so by linking to discogs I indicate that the release is pressed in one of those plants, but I don't know that
2022-05-21 14141, 2022
notsosmart
so I'd rather remove a link to discogs
2022-05-21 14106, 2022
notsosmart
but I could also link to all three discogs releases, if pressing plant is not relevant

Discogs is for collectors, and they care very much about different pressings, matrix, etc. MusicBrainz is primarily for taggers, so if the essentials are unchanged (cover art, barcode, track times), it doesn’t generally warrant a separate release.
