i have these images labeled e.g., "46-CD3-in-left.jpg (8.6 MB)" & "47-CD3-in-right.jpg (9.8 MB)" which i assume means the inside of CD3 on the left & right, respectively...

<iconoclasthero[m> "what's "obi" in the art/images..." <- They're little snippets of info printed on paper folded around physical album releases in Japan.
Has a great deal of value to some collectors, not particularly fussed myself but I kept it anyways because of that, lol :)

should I use https://www.mp3tag.de or Picard for adding proper metadata for thousands of songs?
ridge[m]
Up to you, but I find Picard to be way more accurate and efficient.

Not much of a contest given Picard is open source and developed by the MusicBrainz community.

i see. not that then.
it looks like everything i tried to upload made it (they were giant scans). some really cool band schedules from The Keystone in Berkeley in the 70s though: https://musicbrainz.org/release/f92ea3ce-68c5-4...
jerry was apparently playing the 500-seat venue for shits and giggles a lot when he wasn't touring with the dead.

Beautiful work with the scans iconoclasthero ! Did you see that the front image is duped?
iconoclasthero[m
oh, i can't take credit for the scans, just uploading them. I guess the lower-res original could be deleted...i'm sure it's not as bit as what I uploaded.
it blows me away that Charlie Daniels was on the same bill as Doobie Gray.
or that jerry played a couple nights with Merle Saunders and then came back and did it again with Old and in the Way.
Either I'm too young or my US musician knowledge is too crap (probably the second, I didn't have much music at home until I sought it out myself) but I don't know all those artists!
