So either a) the event wasn't cancelled, b) they had two scheduled events at the same venue on the same day (at different times?) and only one was cancelled, c) it was cancelled and then later uncancelled, d) something else?, e) the reviewer was never at the event.

Freso, setlist.fm doesn't list that concert
It does, however, list an appearance at a festival in Bangalore a few days prior
Freso
hibiscuskazeneko: And setlist.fm generally has all Metallica concerts otherwise?
hibiscuskazeneko
To my knowledge (they're very thorough, especially for major acts)
I know they even list TV appearances for some bands (e.g. KISS)
Freso
Alright.
hibiscuskazeneko
They don't list cancelled events
Freso
Can you link me the setlist.fm appearance at the Bangalore festival? :)
Yep. That's pretty much what Metallica's site says too.
reosarevok: Would https://metallica.com/tour/10824 qualify for "official homepage" for the event? Or is there any kind of URL relationship it could be used with?
hibiscuskazeneko
I'd probably use "official homepage"
Freso
That's what I'm leaning towards to.
Oh well, I'll add it and allow people to vote.
hibiscuskazeneko doesn't know of any reason to vote against it
Oh, I forgot to tick the tickbox as well. C'est la vie.
hibiscuskazeneko
meh, I would've "yes" voted it anyway
Freso
:)
(I got caught up in adding other details to the event.)
reosarevok
Seems like official would probably work
reosarevok is late as usual :p
Freso
Hey hibiscuskazeneko btw. When you're going through an entire tour and adding all the events, how much time does that usually take for you?
reosarevok: :)
hibiscuskazeneko
Several days, usually
If the tour's ongoing, it can take significantly longer
krono joined the channel
The KISS tours I've been adding recently have taken longer than usual because I'm getting most of the info out of a physical book
Freso
Aw.

How many events would you say you'd be able to do in, say, 3-4 hours?
hibiscuskazeneko
It depends on several factors
1) Are there setlists available?
2) If it's a past date, how much data is extant?
3) Where is the info coming from?
Freso
Assume it's something available on setlist.fm with setlist.fm as the only source (and not spending time checking for additional sources).
hibiscuskazeneko
Probably a few dozen
Freso
Alright.
hibiscuskazeneko
The way I save time with setlists is I make a TextEdit document of all the formatted works and copy-paste it as needed
Freso
hibiscuskazeneko: Do you know of any tours or festivals on setlist.fm that you have *not* entered yourself yet that consist of "a few dozen" or less events. :D

Quite a few

hibiscuskazeneko: Care to make a WikiPage or send me an e-mail? :) I would like to make some GCI tasks of this.
(A WikiPage is probably better, as other people would be able to contribute.)
Of course, it might be sensible to add tasks like "Add events for Day 1 at Foo Bar Festival." which would allow splitting up festivals more. It could also be possible to split on stage, but setlist.fm doesn't do that, so it'd not necessarily make the task easier. :/
