<09jojothespacepeanut> I put in a bug report last week because I thought the delete feature was non-functional. I've been waiting a week so far for some listens to be deleted that the page tells me will be deleted within an hour. If that's how it works then the message it gives the user really needs to be updated.
      • <05rustynova> Wait... Are you trying to delete listens from the "Missing data" page or the "dashboard" page?
      • monkey[m]
jojothespacepeanut: Yeah, that sounds like a bug. Can you please expand on which page you were on and what you did? Are the listens now deleted?
      • Oh, sorry I read too quick, let me find the bug report

<lucifer[m]1> "hey LB users: EU Researchers who..." <- country list is very limited…
      • “Country of Residence ” is not neccessary box to fill even though it is marked with “” though

elkiensad: i think it is only for users based in the EU
      • https://portal.fairmuse.eu/frequently-asked-que... - "We are looking for as many, and as diverse users of music streaming services, they just need to live in an EU country."
      • elkiensad[m]1
        laws are silly
      • <lucifer[m]1> "https://portal.fairmuse.eu/..." <- searched for EU in blog post just in case but did not think about f.a.q. page
      • lucifer[m]1
mayhem: can/should we update the blog post to mention the restriction?
      • mayhem[m]
        sure, can do.
      • "EDIT: Please note that FairMusE project can only accept data from EU users. "

Is it possible to create a playlist automatically which contains each song of an artist once with LB or at least get a list of them with MB?
      • mayhem[m]
sorry, I don't quite understand what it is you're trying to do.
      • relaxo[m]
      • I think this is hand made.
      • Could LB or MB be utilized to automatically create such a list. Maybe as LB Playlist?
      • discordbrainz
<10volumetrique> well you can definitely use the API to gather recordings by an artist
      • <10volumetrique> https://musicbrainz.org/ws/2/recording?artist=a... Returns recordings by artist Skrillex... you need to page it afterwards with &offset=[number]
      • <10volumetrique> I can create a simple userscript to export it to a text file or a LB playlist probably...
      • monkey[m]
Someone requested a feature to add whoile albums to a playlist by pasting a release MBID. I reckon that would be a pretty easy way to go about it, albeit semi-manually
      • mayhem[m]
<relaxo[m]> "Could LB or MB be utilized to..." <- Yes, a script could easily make these playlists.

<05rustynova> WOOO! Lb updated beta! My scrobbles are back!
      • <05rustynova> And yeah a script like that could be made... But I can't make it yet as I'm busy remaking my MB cache...

okay. Never made a user script. Will dig into it when I have the time. I also thought it would be a nice feature for LB to offer a Playlist with every song of an artist. Maybe on the Artist Page.

That sounds like a good fit for troi, the homebrew tool we made to generate playlists (https://github.com/metabrainz/troi-recommendati...)
      • discordbrainz
<05rustynova> That would definitely fit... Until someone DDOS Listenbrainz by making a playlist of Various Artists. I do know that a playlist of 400 tracks lags quite a bit, so that would be pretty bad
      • <05rustynova> Although there will also be the problem of recordings that are basically the same but different like extended versions and radio edits. Brainzplayer will definitely struggle to differentiate both
