Maxr1998: Thanks for pointing that out ! I don't think we can automatically give flairs for Github supporters because they are not tied to an LB username, but we definitely want to thank GH supporters too !
For the purpose of manually giving you flair status, are you confirming this is the account you want flaired? [Maxr1998](https://listenbrainz.org/user/Maxr1998/)
I will add a note to that effect in LB where we have info about donations and flairs

Yes it is! And that's fair, I think automatic detection through the GitHub API should be possible but is probably a long-term goal. Let me know if there's interest in this and I could take a look into it.

Oooh, out of curiosity what is the sort of process you have in mind? I don't know squat about GH sponsors
Maxr1998[m]
Ideally, you could link your GitHub account, and then it would check the user's sponsored accounts through the API and whether they include MetaBrainz.

I see, makes sense.

monkey: https://tickets.metabrainz.org/browse/LB-1692, for this unlinking feature, shall i add a button which would trigger delete-listen endpoint for that mbid and then later remove it?

@fettuccinae:matrix.org: I'm going out to lunch now, but can answer in depth after that. In short, this ticket is more about marking an automatic match that LB made as incorrect, rather than deleting anything. But I'm not sure what that means in terms of back-end or database requirements. We have a table for manually linking listens; we might need a new table to store wrong matched.
fettuccinae[m]
monkey[m]: ohh okay. after your lunch, can you tell me how it should be done in a lil detail?
<monkey[m]> "@fettuccinae:matrix.org: So this..." <- Alright, no problem! thanks for the clarification, ill pick another ticket

Hi! When I scrobble a track, how does ListenBrainz determine which release to link to a recording? Is there a way to check or change the linked release (I know it is possible to do this for recordings, but it seems to me that the release is chosen automatically) for my listens?
You can also vote for the ticket, which helps drive our priorities; that being said, I think this is the most voted ticket already :D
CircularTrapezoi
Oh ok sorry I didn't think about checking tickets before asking
monkey[m]
No worries, I keep all the tickets in my brain at all times anyway :D

Agreed, far better
Although anything is better than jira 😔

Nah. My company's ticket system is far worse. It's an homebrewed thing, and we plan to move to Jira.
I do like it personally

Hello I thought I understood stats except for deletions were computed everyday. I uploaded my listens more than 24 hours ago but still don't have my stats is that normal?
Looks like mine didn’t update for yesterday either, server might need a kick. But I am in a weird timezone so can’t corroborate 100% (can’t be bothered working out where my yesterday and that of the server align)
jasinmall[m]
Ok thanks so it does happen sometimes and they will update eventually
