      • IINA is like mpv.net (Windows) or Celluloid (GNOME) for macOS
      • it seems very simple I will port it to ListenBrainz

hi, i have used listenbrainz on my phone but i just noticed that it picked up a lot of stuff it shouldnt have. Now I have about 6 Months of partially wrong scrobbles on my listenbrainz profile. Is there a way to delete all submissions from the listenbrainz app?
      • * listenbrainz app? I dont want to scour pages upon pages of data manually...

Hi Arian, you can indeed delete everything, in your settings page > Delete listens>
      • I would recommend to download a copy of your data before deleting, though, just in case
      • Arian[m]
ah, no not everything! only the data that was uploaded by the app listenbrainz
      • monkey[m]
Ah, I see. We don't currently have a way to do that natively in LB. The Link Listens page (also in your settings) can sometimes be a useful tool to identify non-music listens and allows you to delete them

I don't have a mobile solution, but I may have one for pc.
      • Is it a continuous block of wrong listens or just some listens among others?
      • monkey[m]
But I was going to add, rustynova might have a better suggestion, having made a command-line tool for such cases

rustynova[m]: some listens among others, that have a specific pattern, should even be possible to grab via regex
      • Codified[m]
If you know python or go, that would be the easiest way
      • monkey[m]
I can also suggest kellnerd's command-line tool Elbisaur (https://github.com/kellnerd/elbisaur) which will allow to filter your history according to a pattern, export that to a json file, then use the delete command to delete that batch
      • rustynova[m]
I was going to suggest Elbizaur but I didn't knew it was actually able to do it more than just deleting manually from the dumps
      • Arian[m]
        that sounds great, thanks!
      • monkey[m]
Read the history section for filtering, then the delete section for the deletion

        ?
      • rustynova[m]
Tauon has no history afaik. Only counts
      • I do want to create an importer for it (and black player) but it's not my priority

musicbee is able to create a playlist to recently played songs as far as a web search showed me
      • but idk if it is useful
      • <monkey[m]> "I can also suggest kellnerd's..." <- yeah elbisaur is the best tool for this job
      • phoenix_05[m]
        oh, alright
      • I haven't used Tauon much rn, most of it is on MB
      • there is a history option, I could probably make a playlist out of it; how would I import that into LB?

BART! I don't want to alarm you, but the global listen counts are behind again

      • Also, I just noticed, but discord display a generic link thumbnail while elements display the cover art of the release
