zas: the existing collectd stuff is pretty isolated from mbserver, you should be able to move it around without any problem

and I can help deploy any changes, of course

bitmap: i had a look at the recipe it uses a ppa which looks more or less empty, and collectd is now available in official repos (trusty for sure)

ah, well using the official package now sounds much more sane

i'm re-deploying graphite on cosgrove

enough disk space there too? I remember it only had 6 GB or something
