        LordSputnik, I'm liking the direction that table inheritance would take us. I think it would allow us to ignore abstractions when they don't need to be explicit but still have those abstractions for when we want them.

        I'm now wondering about the wisdom of offloading some of the effort of hiding implementation details like the distinction between Entity and EntityData in postgresql. Have entity be a view of some sort which presents the flattened object. It simplifies the data layer further, but I'm not totally sure of the consequences.
