        Manually copying the IP address, switching to browser window, making a new tab, copying the IP address into the address bar (possibly prepending with http:// depending in browser), and *then* being able to do the testing... is a lot more cumbersome than 1) click link, 1b) (opt., dep. on browser/system) switch to browser/tab, 2) test.

        ruaok: about DNS changes, i'll remove most A records from musicbrainz.org domain, moving them to metabrainz.org, and use CNAMEs instead (ie. picard.musicbrainz.org will be a CNAME to lb1.metabrainz.org, it is currently a CNAME to lb1.musicbrainz.org) It is an attempt to move all "machines" under more neutral metabrainz.org.
