Hi guys, just wondering if there was any update on fixing up the missing ASINs as a result of MBS-9093?

Ok, just wanted to check. My nightly tag comparisons are pretty noisy as a result :)

Are you always comparing against the state from X weeks ago?

chirlu: I compare the tags in my music files against those in the current database.

I get an email overnight telling me which music files have changed, then I (usually) check those changes to see if I want to apply them.

Now I'm getting an email with hundreds of files that need to have the ASIN removed, so it's hard to find the real updates within then (so I've just given up until this is resolved!).

chirlu: do you know if there's any reason not to remove https://musicbrainz.org/relationship/00687ce8-1... if https://musicbrainz.org/statistics/relationships shows 0 uses? :)

(not sure if we have some agreement to leave them there in case they're on someone's tags or something... unlikely as that seems for this one!)

I'm adding http://tickets.musicbrainz.org/browse/STYLE-674 - but I'm not too sure what to do with link phrases (since it should be clear it's about scores)

I've added a "get the score" parent, how does name: purchase for mail-order, link phrases: "purchase score for mail-order" / "score mail-order purchase page for" / "The score for {entity1} can be purchased for mail-order at {entity0}" sound?

(long and ugly, I know, but I can't think of shorter stuff that's still clear :/ )

(anyone else who has opinions, please give them too :) )

Downloaded, sold scores are possibly rarer but do exist. I added both options: https://musicbrainz.org/relationships/url-work but can (and would like to) still improve the link phrases :)

those phrases seem ok to me

possibly an ending "at" for the reverse ones? not sure if the url-release ones do

ah, they don't. so yeah if they're the same phrases as for the release purchases (but adding "score" where applicable), that sounds fine to me

also, based on https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sheet_music, "score" tends to refer to cases where all parts are printed together, while "sheet music" is a more generic term that would also apply to just the trumpet part. So perhaps the relationships should use "sheet music"?

Well, they do indicate score/sheet music on the description - I kept score because that's what we used in the past and seemed more clear to stick to the same word

LordSputnik, a "this site requires cookies" headers for BookBrainz would be useful, wouldn't it?

does this exist as a bugreport: I go to https://beta.musicbrainz.org/artist/1de50207-8b... and click "copy credit" then when I go to my add release tab and use "paste credits" it does not, infact preserve the credit. but pastes the artistname as is (with the leading dot and funky caps)

also trying to backspace in the credit (in the add release editor) is strange, it keeps trying to replace the name os i am forever backspacing

CatQuest: Not that I know of. Either way, if you can't find a matching bug report yourself, go ahead and make a new ticket. If it turns out to be a dupe, someone (likely chirlu…) will mark it as a dupe of the original and no harm has been done. :)

ick ick! using the "guess feat" button on that (i changed the credit to the right one) just made the feat artist disappear from the trackname witouth adding it to the artist
