Also, not fully clear on the symptoms you're getting. Is it appearing to log in correctly, but failing once you try to use the auth? No errors on the browser console or from node?

yvanz: Regarding MBS-8114, this needs some discussion on the approach. Currently, relationship sorting is completely agnostic to the entities involved, and IMO that is a good thing.
LordSput1, on second thought, is linking even still supported? We don't have any way to log in anymore except through MB, so presumably that's a dead code path.
