Does anyone know if MusicBrainz has a queryable setlist API for music festivals?

Theoretically, yes

(we have festivals, you can enter setlists for them, and everything is API-queryable or should be)

In practice, I don't think we have almost any festival setlists at the moment

ruaok: could you check the "Generate token / key" email? I'm not sure how that system works yet

reosarevok: other thought for the token generation--make sure the user is in their MeB account-most folks are in their mb account--which is not where the tokens are generated....

Yeah-so the sign up and then atleast for me it's typically open automatically signs me in-with a button that says sign in with musicbrainz info or something...

This is actually not the smoothest....to get token generation

I think mostly the issue is that once "signed up and in" no one uses MeB any longer--its just MB...however in the future maybe not....i donno either. We may need a call out to token generation or something....

CatQuest: it's just a visa letter for visiting Spain-I don't know about the blocking of editing-but it's a legal letter that needs proper legal entities listed and such-not a big deal. Just needs the ducks in a row...;)

CatQuest: You need visas for travelling to foreign countries for most of the world. EU area citizens have had the Schengen agreement cover most of Europe for most of our lifetimes (since 1985), so we're not as affected, but coming from outside of Europe and going into the EU can be pretty tricky.

but wait, if you need a visa anyway. what is a passpoer good for?

CatQuest: The passport is your identification, the visa is just a (usually temporary) permission to stay in a given country (and will often be attached to/stamped in the passport).

The visa will also (usually) identify the conditions of your stay (e.g.: tourist visa or working visa).
