CatQuest:for that task of clicking photo of instrument
What if I have no such instrument which doesnt have a photo on music brainz ?
SothoTalKer
what exactly is described in the task?
Ashish
To take a photo of the instrument that does not have a photo on music brainz
& photo should be my work
SothoTalKer
then it is very likely that you cannot do the task.
unless you know a place where there is such an instrument and where you could take a picture of it.
Ashish
Can I ask my friend to click a photo for me & if he gives me permission to upload it ?
SothoTalKer
you could photograph his instrument :3
Ashish
He lives in other state of my counttry : (
SothoTalKer
oh well, i guess you have to wait for CatQuest to get a definitive answer :)

Hello!
SothoTalKer
hello?
TheJYKoder
Is Param Singh online?
naiveai
TheJYKoder: he is iliekcomputers, ping him if you want. but I would advise to just ask the question and wait
TheJYKoder
Okay, thanks!
naiveai
TheJYKoder: by the way, if you want to check the online status of someone, you can use "/who 0 o" in your irc client, should work for most of them
TheJYKoder
Oh, that's handy to know :)

TheJYKoder: describe your specific problem. that way, iliekcomputers can judge how much time answering your query is likely to take. if he thinks it'll take long, he'll put it off until he's free. if it's a short answer he might answer it right away
or at least faster

[00:44] naiveaimy dad got me the Llama and the Camel book just so I could learn Perl :P
good dad
Ashish: hi! I am CatQuest
your suggestion abut your friend istricky
as long as the instrument was not in the db (or in Commons!) an the picture was good
It wouldn't bother me at all
but i don't know what commons thinks about this
I will ask reosarevok about this. he will respond tomorrow
tomorrow and the 24th i will very much be afk a lot. since it is the jul
(norwegian christmas)
i'm happy to extend your task time while we ponder things
now I will go to bed as it's very late here and I need sleep awfully
natta alle!

Hi!, it looks like http://anison.info has no real example for url with '#' and '?' suffix. Is it okay to create an unreal example for test purpose?

I forgot how much of a pain installing ArchLinux on laptops is
naiveai
Leo_Verto: > talking about "installing" Arch Linux
you don't "install" Arch Linux, Arch Linux is in a different dimension
you simply attempt to bow to its wishes
Leo_Verto
naiveai: do you know how process killing in linux works?
naiveai
not really
I know about kill -9 but that's bout it
arthelon[m]
that's all you really need
Leo_Verto
so you do know that kill -9 should kill absolutely anything, right?
naiveai
basically
Leo_Verto
well, I somehow managed to end up with this monster of an Xorg process that eats a whole CPU core and is literally unkillable

LordSputnik, put up a couple other low-priority PRs. The identifier filtering is the only one I feel strongly about getting in ASAP. The others are, I think, nice-to-haves, but are mostly just dev experience improvements.
bitmap
samj1912: I'm not really sure from the ticket or sentry link what the bug in PR #72 is (the ticket just has a cryptic 'release' in blockquotes, the sentry one has 'release_group', the exception is hard to decode)
samj1912
bitmap, see the stack trace
bitmap
I did
samj1912
I also added a couple of tests, 1 sec let me pull up the lines which cause the error.
lets take release_meta for example
earlier it didn't emit an `id` column even though its a FK
since we were using prop.key, which is simply the name of the FK in the ORM, in this case `release`
bitmap
okay
samj1912
now, earlier since release wasn't an actual column, it was never included
bitmap
so the name of the fk in the orm is not necessarily the name of a column on either side
so earlier I was assuming `prop.key` should work, but then I found out such cases and added that bit about actual columns (if you remember we had those errors with `link_attribute_type` in series
so actual_columns is no longer needed because local_columns will always have actual columns
samj1912
yup
and its supposed to be a set in case of composite FK rels
bitmap
makes sense
samj1912
which I am currently assuming is not the case in MB DB as mapping emitted key names for a composite FK and generating filters will require additional logic
so I just added a test which will fail in the future if that ever happens
and we will cross that bridge when we come to it

naiveai, very cool!

Hmm, only 14 editions to make it into the top 10. I'd better get on entering some Irish books.
(Top 10 by language, that is.)
naiveai
wait a sec, you're Irish?
Leftmost
No, but I do speak Irish.
naiveai
oh
tiocfadh ar la
samj1912
bitmap: the reason why it was so tough was that local_columns isn't documented at all, I had to bust out a debugger and do a dir(prop) and try out each probable attribute till I arrived at local_columns :P
it would've made my life easier if it was documented

arthelon[m]: no, it's not relative to anything in particular, it's just the x-values are not correct. the values are correct relative to each other however, so you can see the gap, how many people did "generally high" amounts of edits
