I personally think picard is one of the more attractive MeB projects, atleast for GSoC

that said, about logging, we could improve that, using some existing logging modules

about that, i was pondering splitting code of search dialog, one file per entity type (artist, track, release) and one common file with parent class

ruaok: I am not sure if it is feasible but would it be possible to have mutagen under the MeB GSoC umbrealla similar to how we have beets in GCI, would be nice to get lazka to mentor a task for adding various format supports to mutagen (in case he is willing to)
