Dunno, direct is still good if SOLR fails temporarily :)

Or if I want an easy way to just find something that exactly matches what I entered and ignore every SOLR help (which I'm sure I could do with SOLR but I dunno how :D )

That is currently restricted by the haproxy

But it can be changed if that's decided

If you have solr access directly it's a different case :p

george: Just a reminder: please don't ask people (at least (known) under-18's) where they're from. This is a public channel with public logs. :)

yvanzo: Just push the release out when it's ready, don't worry about genre blog post. reo and I have already written one up (as reo said) and I'll push it out a day or two after the release post.

(We don't have enough blog activity as it is, so I don't want all our activity in a given week to be posted on a single day and then silence for the rest of the week, so I'm trying to spread out the posts a bit.)

george: Also… I don't think you've done any tasks that I've mentored, but being org. admin I try and keep up with the broader picture too, and I've come across some of your task submissions. They're such a pleasure to read. A lot of detail, well laid out. Thank you. :)
"If you do not supply any "vote" attributes in your request (as in the example above), then the list of tags you submit will be treated as upvotes and will completely replace all existing upvoted tags you have on that entity."

(note that musicbrainzngs doesn't allow you to add the vote attributes as described in this documentation and therefore it follows the "legacy behaviour" described in that documentation)

Ok, that helps. I will check that page

to specifically answer your question, yes. for tags for a specific entity you have to set all of the tags that you want the entity to have, not just specify the new ones that you want to add

antfoo
Ok, thanks

Then, I will request my already added tags first. Before adding new tags.
