last week was semana santa here, which means that things were willy nilly.

most of the country seemed to have the week off and I was digging in. heh, oh well.

I started digging into metabrainz.org to work to improve stuff in the code base and to fix IP address logging for replication packet downloaders.

turns out it has never worked while at hetzner, lol.

I spent a bunch of time tracking down people who are behind on invoices.

lots of emails and stuff.

a weird, discombobulated week, for sure.

On JIRA front: Done with local rotating backups/logs, distant (borg) backup, sys-admin doc, next step is SEC automation.

On MBS front: Fixed building docker images, updated beta servers with bugfixes by bitmap and reosarevok.

The two latest bugs have patches under review, expect a new MBS release soon if no other regression occurs.

Looked into MBS-10126 which seemed (seems) a prerequisite to potentially getting contributions from GSoD.

Finally submitted a pull request to sir to catch up with the latest MMD schema already used by MB WS.

Last week I was partly off in the wilderness fixing my caravan, but I did get a couple of days to work on the migration of BookBrainz to the MeB infrastructure.

Doesn’t seem like Cyna. I think I’ll remove them from the "regulars" list again.

Should be about done now, barring some mishap.

I also did some beta testing of and updated the main BB repo in anticipation for the move to Hetzner.
