iliekcomputers, ruaok, pristine__: is it possible to run own listenbrainz server and submit listens to it instead of the official website? should i provide a field to enter an alernative url in the plugin?

amCap1712: you can write a script to submit listens via LB api.

You can prepare the env to run LB on your machine.

so that make sense to provide a field allowing users to change the submission url of the listenbrainz server

I am not sure if this is what you ask for but do read the docs.

IMO if it's not hard you might as well, but I'd make it kinda hidden since I expect it'll be rare

I think the first argument is a global identifier

so that you can do url_for('blueprintname.viewname')

it is a failover IP that was attached to bowie, and we used it because bandwidth limit was higher on bowie, but now bandwidth limitations are gone, and we need to remove this server
