alastairp: Ok! I thought I was the last one in the list
Freso
So we talking a bit about this last week, and I made a proposal on the ticket which didn’t get any comments, and then encoded this in a PR which has a comment from ruaok: https://github.com/metabrainz/metabrainz.org/pu...
If no one else has commented on the wording by tomorrow, I’ll update the PR per Rob’s comment and that’s likely what we’ll end up using then.
ruaok
well, not so fast.
Freso
(The current proposed wording, is "Do not abuse or game any of our projects. All of our projects are community maintained and abusive actions negatively affect other users. Do not use or create sockpuppets, unauthorised bots, or any other means of circumventing the intent or integrity of our projects.")
ruaok
if the core group here has no more comments, then it needs to be reviewed in community.
Mr_Monkey
That sounds good to me.
yvanzo
I already approved the PR, so I have no more comment either. :)
Freso
Sure, but this version is what we continue on with.
ruaok
k
Freso
Anyway, ticket and PR are open for comments. :) I’ll make forum post sometime this week based on feedback there.
CatCat: JIRA date format stuff OTHER-360 / OTHER-361,
OTHER-361: Change the time format to 24 hours in the JIRA ticketracker
CatQuest
imho.
This is something that would make it easier for me to use the bugtracker, and maybe others would want it too?
alastairp said he'd want it
Mr_Monkey
No objection
Freso
I’m fine either way.
shivam-kapila
No objection
Freso
bitmap, yvanzo, reosarevok, zas, ruaok, iliekcomputers are probably the ones using the ticket tracker the most that haven’t chimed in.
CatQuest
seems noone has an objection (to 24h atleast)
yvanzo
No objection either, but note that it isn’t the only bit in Jira to not be js-fail proof.
CatQuest
yes true
zas
Ok for me
bitmap
+1
ruaok
fine
Freso
Anyway, I guess people can chime in if they object on the ticket and we can check in a few days if there are no objections, and go ahead with the change?
CatQuest
works for me
Freso
If anyone is uncomfortable noting it on the ticket, feel free to approach me privately.
And *that* wraps up this meeting then!
Thank you for your time everyone!
Stay safe out there!

CatQuest

yvanzo

CatQuest
Mr_Monkey: to me? :P
no lol
I'll be testing merging tomorrow too
iliekcomputers
ishaanshah: i think the rabbitmq messages are too big, which is leading to spark-reader choking.
I tried some config changes to see if i could make it work, but i think the solution here is to limit to like top 500 releases or something
Mr_Monkey
ruaok: that AAP suit was on my radar, sad to see it go through.
CatQuest: Thanks for the testing !
and tickets
Yum yum, tickets!
ruaok
Mr_Monkey: yeah, more interesting times coming up.
yvanzo
bitmap, reosarevok: I’m still testing changes in MusicBrainz Docker but will release MBS when ready.
and the stats are really quite interesting. I have some albums that are just fantastic background music for work. I put them on and then 5 minutes later its over, or so it seems. I can't really recall much of the album, but when I hear it, it is clearly favorite.
