only other idea i could think of is that there would be a slide open when you click the button instead of a popup modal - that way you coudl still scroll the page and see everythig on the artist (the reason i don' like modlas is that they "occupy" the page completely)

hmmm 🤔 perhaps once you click the "collection" button there could be a menu or something that let's you select an old collection *or* create a new - and *that* would lead you to the "create collection" modal (wich is fine)

my best (worst) exampel is on amazon: they have huge cover-the-page popup modal *menues* coplete with darkening thepage that open once you *hover* thme -__-
If it happens again, we can confirm what it was, I'm not completely sure the dump process was the cause of the load, the sentry bugs seem like side effects of high load.

Sometimes the results are just permuted, other times including one or more different entries (like maybe the overall list from which the 'slice' is taken is not stably sorted?)

I noticed because it makes it impossible to iterate through all releases in a collection, since you get duplicates or missing items depending on the results at each step.
