adesh: there are cloud services that will log you into IRC, and then you log into them when you are actually online. I don't use them, so I don't remember the exact name.

Guys, have a search server question: is the search index built from scratch or does it perform incremental updates? If it is built from scratch, then how often is the index rebuilt?
