basically something changed on beta than cause an issue on Picard side, not sure which should be fixed (perhaps both)

Freso
Probably both. There's already a ticket for Picard, but that won't fix the current or previously released versions of Picard.

also, openjdk 7 is not really supported by cassandra

use Sun JDK 1.8

hello everyone, while configuring essentia i get following error- "Specified example [streaming_extractor_music] cannot be included because LibAv/FFMpeg or libresample are missing"
Clicking Documentation twice (to open and then close it) and moving the mouse away keeps it selected in purple

I'm not sure if I should be sad or relieved that the constraint violation reports for mb properties on wd are growing without my bot running :/

Hi, I am configuring essentia. but it fails. studying the config.log i found that it is detecting libavcodec 54.35.1 rather than 55.34.1. Now, when I install it using cli it says the particular version is not detected. is their some workaround for this. error- "err: Requested 'libavcodec >= 55.34.1' but version of libavcodec is 54.35.0"

rest everything seems to be Ok in the log.

libavcodec is part of ffmpeg, so you could try updating that

well, or the constraints on wikidata are too strict :P
Leftmost: is the gcc in /usr/local on rika required for anything?
2016-03-06 06659, 2016
Leftmost
Mineo, I'm not entirely sure why it's there, but it's a newer version (4.9.3) than the /usr version (4.6.3 and it looks like a 4.4.x as well), so it's possible there's a reason for it to be there.

yes, but it also doesn't seem to look in the standard include directories for files, which means that if you try to build something (in my case the cffi python package) you get error messages about files that can't be found but do actually exist
2016-03-06 06631, 2016
Mineo
the gcc in /usr/ finds those files, but /usr/local/ comes first on $PATH :/

Mineo, I believe there's a workaround for cffi, but I can't recall it off the top of my head and, idiotically, didn't write it down.

It's a bit sad that Picard doesn't appear anywhere with a google search like "music tagger"

Although it does show multiple articles that do recommend Picard, so I guess that's fine :p But it'd be cool to get the actual Picard page somewhere there too
