if nothing goes wrong, it'll eventually tell you that you need to do a schema upgrade because the version number of the replication packets is wrong ;)

well time for me to head off now! Just got the cron job to setup first thing in the morning but then I think we're good to go! Thanks again for all the help!

(but we do need separate tracklists because they're not the same recordings)
      • 2016-03-21 08127, 2016

      • reosarevok
I suspect the right solution, at least for now, is just "do two mediums and deal with it", but :)

Mike_Aiir: For cron, you might need to set up the local::lib explicitly.
      • 2016-03-21 08116, 2016

      • kepstin
it would be kind of nice to treat them similarly to "sides" on a single medium, imo, but not until/unless we have a way to separate sides so we can attach disc ids to them, etc.
      • 2016-03-21 08149, 2016

      • reosarevok
I think I'll open discussion on what was talked about in the old style list, adding medium formats "Hybrid SACD, CD layer" and "Hybrid SACD, SACD layer" and having those be two mediums
      • 2016-03-21 08108, 2016

      • reosarevok
I know nikki hated the idea, and I'm not a huge fan myself, but it seems like our least bad option

reosarevok/bitmap: The other thing would be chopping the same stream into tracks differently. :-) E.g. for “foo / [silence] / bar” tracks on CDs.
      • 2016-03-21 08122, 2016

      • reosarevok
chirlu: sure, but that one isn't really a "real" tracklist so I see it as less important a case to deal with
      • 2016-03-21 08135, 2016

      • 2016-03-21 08140, 2016

      • Mineo
with the empty implementation of convert_annotation, the _store field in solr will be empty (or not contain useful information), so the mbxmlwriter doesn't get useful data
      • 2016-03-21 08110, 2016

      • Mineo
the mbxmlwriter *only* looks at the _store field, the rest is irrelevant
      • 2016-03-21 08143, 2016

      • CJ_
Why? That seems a waste to store the data in other fields only to ignore them.
      • 2016-03-21 08106, 2016

well, if you request the data in solrs native format, you ca use the other fields just fine
