hey guys, quick question, although it may lead to more :). Is there a minimum requirement / recommendation for amount of RAM when using musicbrainz Server and the search server?

the more the better, generally.

if you're using VMs then it is pretty easy. if the VM performs poorly, get one with more RAM.

but for that combo would start with at least 8GB of ram.

thought so, we're currently running an EC2 instance with 2GB ram and we've been having some problems but after looking around the amount of free ram is getting dangerously low straight after reboot

2GB? wow.

ha, yep.

It does seem to hold out for the most part, but every so often the instance craps out on us, and usually at the weekend when no one is in!

will bump up the type and see how it goes from there, cheers!
