        leave the cpu heatsink - they're supposed to stay bolted on very strongly anyway, pull the GPU if it's an expensive one just in case, put it in a pelican case and check it. If you're really paranoid, buy a starter pistol from a sporting goods store, put it in the case, and declare it as containing a firearm so the TSA will take extra care to not lose it.
