ruaok, current plan is to get in on the 28th, leave BCN on the 11th, and spend probably the 3rd or 4th to the 10th elsewhere, so long as that works out for you.

2017-03-27 08627, 2017

there are quite a few places where we could make UX improvements and this will kinda fall into that, methinks.

2017-03-27 08655, 2017
ruaok
we hate the fact that the listen count doesn't update until well after an import is complete.
2017-03-27 08623, 2017
ruaok
we want to see the listen count go up as data imports.
2017-03-27 08656, 2017
alastairp
why doesn't it go up?
2017-03-27 08618, 2017
ruaok
because we cache the results in redis for X minutes. so it won't change until that key expires.

I mean, it sounds suspiciously similar to the counter stuff that we considered for cassandra

ok, I see where you're going with that.
2017-03-27 08632, 2017

but then we should increment that key for all operations that add listens.

samj1912: Good morning - did you see my comments last night about HashAbleTreeWidgetItem?
ruaok: angelfish cannot run in a docker container, mostly because of the installation process (proprietary software, with license key, no non-interactive installation process afaik), so i'll run it "bare" on williams for tests. Angelfish team has no experience with docker, but they aren't against containerization, according the chat i had with their support.
