Sophist-UK: we don't want to overdo it since we don't want to serve more content than we need all the time IMO, that's a waste of bandwidth, no?

Wonder if some extra inc would make sense, inc=work-hierarchy or something

Sure, but this is only important for classical. At the same time, I guess for non classical the bandwidth won't grow anyway
      • 2017-04-24 11457, 2017

      • Sophist-UK
I would personally stick with inc=work-rels and not create a new one.

      • 2017-04-24 11401, 2017

      • yvanzo
But I agree that UI needs to be uncluttered (although this should probably not be solved by not providing data we have).
      • 2017-04-24 11406, 2017

      • Sophist-UK
yvanzo: I can't see a need for prev/next in Picard, so not interested personally - but if someone else wants it, maybe. Or they can do another WS call for the parent to get all the children.
      • 2017-04-24 11424, 2017

      • Sophist-UK
Language tags are also an issue - there is a langage tag, but it is lyrics language not work title language - in order to choose the work title in users local language (like we do for e.g. Artists) we need to have ability to distinguish between lyrics and title languages.

I think a lot of language for artists comes from their Aliases. And Works have aliases, but the examples I have looked at with aliases often don't have the language attribute set.
